Prior to joining the firm, Atty. Kent worked as a Court Decongestion Officer at the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 23, Cebu City, where she was exposed to the different areas and stages of court proceedings. She also worked as a legal intern at RTC Branch 228, Quezon City.

She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Carlos. As a law student, she was an active member of the Center for Legal Aid Work and Bar Operations, where she served as President and Academics Committee Co-Head, respectively. Atty. Kent also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting Technology from the same university, where she graduated cum laude.

Throughout her time as a law student, Atty. Kent demonstrated her commitment to community service by organizing and participating in various legal aid and community extension activities. As a practicing lawyer, she continues her advocacy work as a volunteer lawyer for the My Bonita Home for Girls and Zonta International; Zonta Club Cebu 1. 

Atty. Kent is also member of the Cebu City Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
