Prior to establishing the firm, Atty. Philip was an associate at the Cebu branch of Angara Abello Concepcion Regala & Cruz Law Offices (ACCRALAW), where he was exposed to general legal practice with focus on labor and litigation.
 
He has represented clients before local government offices, administrative bodies, and quasi-judicial tribunals involving permit applications, tax disputes, labor issues, and environmental law concerns. He likewise has significant experience in litigation and appellate practice, including arbitration proceedings before specialized arbitral tribunals.
 
Aside from being an active partner in the firm, Atty. Philip is also a practicing Certified Public Accountant. His practice includes accounting, audit, and tax and tariff advisory for clients in various business industries, ranging from retail, manufacturing, import/export, and real estate. 

He obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of San Carlos College of Law. He has a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy degree from the same university, where he graduated cum laude.
 
Atty. Philip is a member of the Cebu City Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), and the Association of Certified Public Accountants in Public Practice (ACPAP). He is also a part-time instructor at the School of Law of Sto. Niño Mactan College in Lapu-Lapu City.
